Correct Group Attains Cyber Essentials Certification
Correct Group highlights our strong commitment to Cyber Security by gaining certification from Cyber Essentials. Our newest IT security accreditation, along with our already attained ISO27001 accreditation, assures our clients optimal protection from common cyber threats.Tweet
Correct Group is proud to announce our latest certification from Cyber Essentials, an independently verified security assessment against five basic security controls. We place great emphasis on ensuring that our specialist knowledge of IT security is continually strengthened and updated. By completing this accredited certification, our commitment to providing clients with the highest quality and most effective IT security is further underpinned.
Our client’s security, as well as our own, is of paramount importance to us. We take the utmost care in making sure that all of your data and confidential information is kept safe from unauthorised eyes, and that the IT systems that you rely on for productivity remain continuous and uncorrupted. When properly implemented, the five basic controls set out by the Cyber Essentials certification protect IT systems from unskilled internet-based attackers who are using commodity capabilities found freely on the internet. These hackers provide the most common cyber-threats to business, and as your IT support company, Cyber Essentials helps us to guard against them. This protection encompasses;
- Securing your Internet connection
- Securing your devices and software
- Controlling access to your data and services
- Protecting you from viruses and other malware
- Keeping your devices and software up to date
The importance placed on Cyber Essentials certification is such that it has been a requirement for bidding on certain government contracts since 2014. Correct Group is happy to become one of the Cyber Essentials-certified IT support companies in London.
